In late November, Lucy Goose flew south without warning. In the past three months, we didn’t receive one single letter. No calls, nothing. Yesterday she showed up at our front door, with packages from the Amazon in tow. Apparently she went farther than the Keys. Her feathers are fluffy and pristine, and her beak is nicely tanned, so evidently this hiatus was good for her. Noa was beyond thrilled to see her, and Monkey immediately embraced her. We are glad to have her back; hopefully she won’t dissapear again.
